150. An annoying Blog (4)

Have no fear, annoyances are here!  Promptly on Monday, so boo-ya for remembering to write this list on Monday.

Before I begin, I feel like celebrating!  If you have read my blog, or just know me, recently, you will have noticed I am always complaining about something-seeing the new Harry Potter move at midnight.  I have met many complications in this plan, but I have managed to secure a ride!  My step-sister is going to be taking me!  So that's really exciting for me, and I am super excited.  She isn't my first choice to go with, I would rather go with friends for example, but I am not going to be picky-choosy about this!

On another note, I started rereading the Harry Potter series last week to finish it before the movie.  I decided that I will not make it today, since I was only almost to the middle of the fifth book.  So I decided to go straight to the seventh book!  I am slightly angry at myself for not finishing the challenge, but it's more important to read the actual seventh book before the seventh film!

So the three annoying facts of the day:

  1. Television Show Relationships:  Imagine your favorite TV show.  I don't care what it is, but I am pretty sure it at at least has one aspiring (don't know if this is the right use of the word, but it sounds nice!) relationship in it.  In television, though, to keep an audiences they throw out exciting conflicts and such, so just when you think the relationship is about to happen, it doesn't!  Or once it is happening, they have conflicts that make you think it might end.  I like to watch interesting shows, and sometimes these things can be good, but most of the time I just want the couple I like to be together!  Of course maybe everything will be solved and perfect in the very last episode of the whole entire show, because then it's ending and they just want to please you one last time, but I can't wait till then!  It's so frustratingly addicting.
  2. When you go to see a brand new movie, and the theater is SO loud:  I saw New Moon the day it came out.  Not at midnight, but the day of.  The theater was so packed!  And loud, like mentioned.  When the movie it slowly began to spell "new moon" backwards, so the m appeared, then the o, and the other o, and so forth till it was "new moon."  Of course the people behind my row had to sound the words out as they appeared because they either couldn't read without speaking or were confused to what the title of the movie was going to be.  I find that hard to believe as the theater sold special plastic cups with Jacob, Bella, Edward, or Jacob/Bella/Edward faces on them.  So thanks for narrating the "n, on, oon, moon, w moon, ew moon, new moon" movie for me guys! One thing- there might be some exceptions to this, where it hasn't annoyed me.  In the Fourth Harry Potter film when Harry is in the bath and takes his shirt off, I was glad I wasn't the only one giggling and "oohing."
  3. Caring about a person more than they care about you.  I think this one pretty much explains itself, but detail-ify it more for you.  This could pertain to crushes, where you like the person, but they don't like you.  Or maybe when you just made a friend, you instantly like them and want to become best friends, but maybe they already have best friends and it just takes awhile for them to actually like you as much as you like them.  I think it can be easily frustrating.  You of course are thinking "oh, she must be thinking of a specific person when she is writing about that, why else would she be annoyed by it?"  I suppose you could be right, or wrong at the same time.  I have had a lot of crushes where this was similar, and even a few friendships.  I don't think it's something that lasts though.  Either you move on, or they grow to like you equally, or maybe even more.  It's something thats different in every situation, so I can't really give any advice on what to do.  I've waited and been pleased before, and been left hanging also.
Update on Nanowrimo:  Not done writing today, so I am not going to be posting my word count!  It's a mystery!  (Or me just not wanting to embarrass myself by not have the word quota done yet.)

  1. See, it all worked out! I agree with you on those annoying things. That's the bad thing about watching telivision: it's usually predictable in that the happy ending won't be the happy ending you're expecting. I DISLIKE kids very much and people who are always talking during movies in movie theaters. I mean, I know my dad sometimes acts up a bit for attention.. which is embarrassing but it's not like he's saying mean comments. I know, caring about people more than they care about you- like crushes haha- it's horrible. lol although I don't really know if it's possible for people to care about each the EXACT same amount. Just a theory.
