145. Hey there, it's me!

I haven't been writing blogs that often.  I know this is a bad thing, because I really was going at a pretty much 'blog per day' pace.  Writing for nanowrimo, reading, and homework (probably some youtube) have been taking up my time.  Not to mention other fun things, like seeing friends!

I am slightly stressed out at the moment because 1) I still have to write 1667 words today.  I had to finish the word quota I didn't finish for yesterday earlier, and so now I need today's.  I am not loving my story at the moment either, so I need to break out of this boredom!  2)  I have to read the 5,6, and 7 books before thursday or friday.  3)  I need to figure out if I can see the HP midnight showing or not.  4)  I had an English project (poster) due friday I believe.  5)  I have school tomorrow.

Now I really wish this blog post would have something interesting.  I will attempt!

I am thinking of doing something like BEDA. (blog everyday in August or April for some)  Except, why wait for either of those months?  They are so far away!  But I am not sure which month would be a good one.  November might have been a good idea, but there's nanowrimo and I am thinking of it in the middle of the month!  I travel in December for Christmas!  So maybe January?  I think that would be interesting, the beginning of a new year and all.  Who knows!  I will keep you posted.

Also speaking of January.  Kristiana Horner, Italktosnakes (on youtube) did a challenge/book club where she read 50 books in one year.  I think this sounds like the challenge I would love!  I love to read... and it would challenge me to read a lot of books!  New books, mind you.

I am not sure if I would want to read 50.  It would be fun to read even more then that!  What about 100 books?  That would be around 8 books a month, which would be around 2 books a week.  Mind you, I am rounding here.  Personally, I think I could handle that.  I read a lot during breaks and traveling, so I think 100 books is a good, round number.  Of course there will be some stress, finding all of those new books.  Maybe I could allow myself 20 books I've read before, or something.  5 picture books for when I am busy?  Who knows.  Maybe I will write up a contract when the time comes!

So that was a lot of future talking!  Something to look forward to I suppose.

Word count:  21,690
Short blog?  YES :(

  1. Then start writing! Reading 100 new books per year would be awesome! I've seen, and have been apart of contests like that on my other blogging site, but I always forget to type the books up.. lol. but I do try to write down the books when I've finished reading them. Plus, I don't think it matters if you blog once a day. since, it does get difficult to have something interesting everyday. it's like how some things work out.
